As you have hopefully heard, Comberton Parish Council is hosting a family-friendly Summer Festival, on 5th July 2025, 2-11pm. Do get the date in your diary, there is so much happening to enjoy! There are:

A Disco and… a Dog Show!
On the day, families and individuals can sign up for a Yoga class (bring a yoga mat), Wacky Races (with medals), Drama Workshop (for 7-11yrs, with a Wind-in-the-Willows theme), and our very own Krufts at Comberton. You’ll be able to sign up, on site, from 1pm …first class starts at 2pm. For the Dog Show, check out the classes below and bring your dog! Prizes sponsored by Wallis Pet Supplies, Barton.

There’s plenty of food and drink for you to enjoy. Offerings include a Beer Tent (The Three Horseshoes, with picnic tables) and a Tea Patio (Comberton Churches, with chairs). Vendors include TeaPod (crêpes, cakes, hot/cold drinks, bubble teas), JB Ices (ice creams, lollies), La Farina Santa (pizza), Urban Outdoor Events (burgers, kebabs, chicken), and Dovecott Wine Cellar (wine by glass/bottle). Bring your picnic blankets!
And of course, a wonderful array of live performances. The afternoon kicks off with Comberton Village College Big Band, the vibrant Steelin’ the Show (steel pans & drums), and the Village Voices choir. We’ll also welcome the Eversden Brass Band, the dynamic Emperors of the Known Universe (hard rock), and Platform A, a 7-piece jazz/rock group. Plus, see PQA with musical numbers from their upcoming show. As evening approaches, get ready for a lively family barn dance with the Firecrest Ceilidh Band, followed by Barefoot DJs who will keep the energy high until the end of the evening.
