Comberton Bands in the Park is Taking Shape!

Planning for this year’s Bands in the Park is in full swing, and we are delighted to share more details about what’s in store. While we are keeping things simpler than last year’s festival (no stalls this time), we are bringing you a music-focused afternoon and evening on the Rec, perfect for a relaxed summer gathering with friends and neighbours.

A Taster of our Musical Lineup:

• CVC Big Band: Bringing that unmistakable wall of sound.

• Firecrest: Get ready for a high-energy Ceilidh set.

• Barefoot DJs: Closing out the night with a final disco set.

Plus: Spotlights on up-and-coming local singers and musicians!

Feast on the Field: There will be plenty of refreshments available for you to enjoy during the afternoon and evening. We can already confirm: Fresh Pizza from La Farina Santa, Ice Creams from JB Ices, tea and cakes from our local churches, and the Pub Tent, provided by the Three Horseshoes.

We Need YOU! To make Bands in the Park a success, we are looking for a small team of volunteer marshals. If you can spare just three hours, we would love to have you on board. You will be part of a supportive team and given full instructions on the day. It’s a great way to support the village, and we promise you’ll leave with a “warm fuzzy feeling” for helping out!
